CONGREGATIONAL CARE
Many of our congregational family have not been able to attend church in person because of the Covid pandemic, its lockdown procedures or underlying medical conditions. This has made being aware of any pressing needs the people in our “flock” might have difficult.

Please let the congregational care team know if you know of someone who:
• is sick or hospitalized (so they can be communicated with by cards and letters)
• needs transportation to any appointment or other place (church, Sunday school, medical, dental, veterinarian etc.)
• needs meals made and delivered to them
• has lost a loved one or family member and could use some grief support
• needs someone to do errands (such as go to the post office, get medicine, groceries or any other necessary task)
• would like Pastor Thom or a church family member to come visit with them
• would like to have someone come to read the Bible to them

The Congregational Care Team consists of:
Communication: Sue Norton Poplin
Grief Support: Richard Classon
Meal Coordinator: Kelly Malloy
Transportation: Linda Wallenstein
*consult your directory or the church office for contact info

FYI: Linda & Andy Wallenstein will not be available to contact until September 1, 2022. If you have transportation needs please call Sue Poplin to arrange help for you.

Feel free to do something nice for someone any day, any time!
Please do not hesitate to call me with any needs.

backpackBACKPACKS ARE ORDERED!
Our annual School Supply/Backpack Drive is back! If you would like to make contributions for the purchase of 19 Lands End backpacks you can send a check to Peterborough United Methodist Church, 43 Concord St, Peterborough NH 03458. You can also give online here: http://bit.ly/pumconlinegiving. Please note “School Backpacks” on the memo section of your check or the message section of your online donation.
A list of needed school supplies is also posted in the Fellowship Hall on the donation boxes with post-its for you to select what items you would like to contribute.
