ALTAR FLOWERS

Flowers serve the purpose of reminding us of God’s creation and the beauty of his handiwork and are meant to express joy.
A sign-up opportunity for altar flowers is available in the fellowship hall. We encourage you to choose a date (perhaps a special memorial date of your family) and sign up. Record this date in your personal calendar and be responsible for finding a replacement if you are unable to keep that commitment.
This privilege does not have to be expensive and creates another way to participate in our worship service. Please consider taking a turn to participate.
You may send the office a line about who your flowers are dedicated to or the event you are celebrating, and it will be placed in the bulletin.
Thank you.

UPDATE ON ARUN

Arun when he was young
Arun now
Arun lives at Methodist Boarding Home for Boys and Girls and was born 5/18/2004. Peterborough has been sponsoring him since 2009. He is now 18 years old and in the second year of getting a Bachelor’s Degree in History, Economics, and Political Science. The college academic year is typically about July through May, so sometime in May he will finish the second year of his BA and in July he will begin the third year. In about May of 2024 we anticipate getting news that he has graduated with his BA, and then hopefully we will get some updates from Arun on his future plans.
