Learn more about Giving Tuesday: https://www.givingtuesday.org/about/
Giving Tuesday is part of an international movement to extend the spirit of giving thanks into the Advent season. As a response to the hyper-consumerism of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, people around the world celebrate Giving Tuesday by supporting organizations that are transforming the world. It offers an opportunity to start the holiday season by giving instead of receiving.
Global Ministries, the worldwide mission and development agency of The United Methodist Church, with UMCOR, invites members to give love, joy, hope and peace through a denomination-wide year-end giving campaign. Their Give Love campaign will be held until Dec 31.
You can donate to funds for UMCOR, global ministries, global health, US disaster and recovery, international disaster response, evangelism and church growth, sustainable development, global migration, and missionaries.
Share your gifts on Tuesday, November 29, and make a donation to Global Ministries, PUMC, or any other non-profits you would like to show support for.
