Habitat for Humanity Update

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY UPDATE – TO PATIO OR NOT TO PATIO
Monadnock Habitat for Humanity is making great progress on the house in Keene. The framing, roofing and siding are done and windows and doors are in.
The plumber and electrician are working there now with insulation scheduled for next week and drywall in mid July. Then Habitat will be opening it up for more volunteer groups for painting, installing vinyl plank flooring, cabinets, baseboard trim, landscaping and cleanup.

QUESTION: Are we as a church still interested in “taking care of” the patio for the home? As was discussed BC (Before Covid) the idea was we would raise the money for the materials (patio stone or pavers and hardpack) and as a group we would build the patio on a Saturday.
It would not require a lot of people or take all day as it would be only about 10’ x 10-15’. It can be done anytime from now through the end of July.
At a rough estimate costs should not exceed $1,000.
Please let Matt Keenan know if you are interested in this project. (consult your directory or contact the church office for contact info)
