Please enjoy this video from our worship service on 10/11/15, by Pastor Lourey Savick, titled Let it Go to Let God In.
*Private joys and concerns have been removed.
You have homework!
Similar to a Johari window, this God window will help you better understand your relationships with others, and with God. You are invited to reflect on what belongs in each of these sections.
Open is things we know about ourselves, and things others know about us.
Private is things we know about ourselves, but others do not know about us.
Blind spot is things we do not know about ourselves, but others know about us.
Mystery is things we do not know about ourselves, and others do not know about us.
But God sees it all.
Bad news: We will never be everything all at once. Indeed, there are some things we will never be.
Good news: God already knows what we are, yet we are beloved – God is counting on our participate in God’s reign.
What do you fear about hearing what others thing of you/us?
Of what measure of security is God inviting you to let go?
