Update on Imagine No Malaria:
Our church has sent a donation of $637.05 for Imagine No Malaria. Our yearly goal is $1000, which is ambitious for our small church but within reach for our big hearts. We will continue to raise funds as the year progresses. The Sunday School kids were instrumental in achieving this donation. They spoke about Imagine No Malaria during several of our services, as well as creating the mosquitoes we have displayed around the church and at our Peak Into Peterborough booth. A portion of this money was donated by the community at Peak Into Peterborough, and we can’t wait to go back again this year. Imagine No Malaria
United Methodists are committed to bring an end to death and suffering from malaria by 2016. $10 saves one life in Africa. We plan to feature tangible displays for Imagine No Malaria during church service on several occasions, including a short video. We would like to coordinate a fundraiser with the church yard sale this year. We also would like volunteers to go to local business locations to set up a table with information to try to collect money for this program. Visit ImagineNoMalaria.org for more information.
