Marilla of Green Gables by Sarah McCoy

The next meeting of PUMC’s Book Group will be on Monday, March 20th at 1:30 PM. The meeting will be a hybrid meeting, meaning we’ll be at the church fellowship room with a Zoom screen open for anyone who would like to attend on-line.
The March novel is Marilla of Green Gables by Sarah McCoy. It explore the life of Marilla Cuthbert before she grew up to live with her brother Matthew and adopt Anne Shirley, Lucy Maud Montgomery’s famous protagonist of Anne of Green Gables. This is a fun and nostalgic read for anyone who loved the ‘Anne’ novels and the television series called Anne of Avonlea.
Books should be very easy to come by on-line, through Kindle or Audible, through inter-library loan, through the used book aisles at Toadstool, etc. You’re very welcome to join the discussion. Just let the office know. Susan L will get your email contact info and get you into the book group loop!
