A walk-through visitation will be held on Friday April 16, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Jellison Funeral Home, 25 Concord Street, Peterborough, NH. Masks will be required and CDC Guidelines for social distancing will be followed.

A memorial service for Gloria Lodge will be held at Cathedral of the Pines, on Saturday, April 17th, at 11:00 a.m.
Please note that there will be a limited number of seats available due to COVID-19 restrictions with an indoor service (the outdoor facilities are closed due to construction). Family, co-workers and close friends are encouraged to attend.

Gloria A. Lodge, age 62 of Peterborough, passed away peacefully at Catholic Medical Center, after a brief illness, on April 3, 2021. She was born in North Andover, MA on January 22, 1959, the daughter of Warren and Doris (Wilson) Lodge.
Gloria moved with her family to Peterborough from North Andover, MA while still in grade school. She graduated from ConVal High School, then attended UNH and Antioch College where she received a Master’s Degree.
Gloria spent 23 years of her career at Keene State College where she was director of Human Resources before eventually taking on a role as academic and career advisor, which was her favorite work. She very much enjoyed advising and guiding students through the college experience and onto future careers and considered that her life’s work.
Gloria participated in Lions Club and was well known in the community. She was a past president of the Peterborough Chamber of Commerce. She stayed active with her sorority women’s group and had many friends. She also enjoyed crafting and had great affection for her dogs.
Most of all, Gloria was known for her kind heart and positive spirit.
Gloria is survived by her husband of 38 years, Nils Bruce Wenblad of Peterborough.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Gloria’s name to NHSPCA.
To share a memory, or to leave a message of condolence for the family, please visit Gloria’s tribute page at https://www.jellisonfuneralhome.com/obituary/Gloria-Lodge

Cards may be sent to:

Several people at the UCC have had their email hacked and have lost all of their contacts. If you have Gmail, you can save your contacts now, in case that happens to you. In the upper righthand corner of Gmail, click the 9-dots symbol. Choose the Contacts icon. In the left column, click Frequently Contacted. Scroll down and click Export, Google CSV, Export. This will produce a CSV file you can open in Excel, that you can pull onto your desktop. It contains all of your contacts, and can be imported back into Gmail should you be hacked. There should be similar ways to save contacts in other programs.

Email scams are an inevitable part of living in a digital age. The most deceptive appear as inquiries, warnings or attachments from a trusted friend, colleague or organization like your local church. Imposters are tricking people to reveal contacts, confirm logins or reset personal information – UM Communications offers tips on how you can avoid being tricked.
