REOPENING WITH PRE-REGISTRATION
We are opening the church building for our worship services starting this Sunday, May 16. The reopening committee has worked hard to come up with a plan that minimizes the risk of transmission of the Covid-19 virus. The best thing we can all do to minimize risk is to get vaccinated! The committee and the world-wide United Methodist Church strongly encourages all who can to get a vaccine to stop the transmission of this deadly virus. There will be major changes to how we’ve worshipped in the past. Ventilation will be increased by opening all the windows in the sanctuary – dress appropriately! Masks are mandatory for all. We will abide by current guidance on social distancing. This means we can only have 34 people in the sanctuary for worship each Sunday. We will have to use a reservation system to limit attendance. The Sunday May 16 service is full. For reservations for the next Sundays, please call or email Laura Constantine. Priority will be given to those who did not attend the previous Sunday. The children will go immediately to the SS room for Children’s Church. We expect that changes will be made as we go along. Please be patient and kind and show each other grace during this transition to in-person worship.
