Laity Sunday celebrates the ministry of all Christians to love God and neighbor. On Laity Sunday, we lift up the vocation of all to follow the way of Jesus and lead others to him – particularly as we remember the gift of those persons who loved us into leadership.
Our Church Conference will be held via Zoom on Saturday, November 20th at 10 am. The SPRC meeting with the District is directly before our conference so please be mindful of how early you login.

CHRISTMAS WREATH SALE COMING AT YOU
Strange isn’t it!? We’re already planning for the Advent Season! That means thinking about our annual Christmas wreath sale at PUMC! This year, we’d like to challenge everyone to get their friends and family to sign on for a wreath or two! Now is the time, to give your family and friends, neighbors and business associates a call to see if they would like to support your little church in their annual sale!
Make your list of contacts and stay tuned for the wreath order forms that will be coming your way through our church services, weekly What’s Happening blurbs, and the November newsletter. We’d tell you how many days until Christmas, but hey, it’s too soon for that!
HUNDRED NIGHTS WEEKEND DINNER – October 23rd
Our next weekend dinner for the guests at the Hundred Nights Homeless Shelter and Drop-In Center will be on Saturday, October 23rd. This time around, our menu will revolve around fall soups, salad, and hearty sandwiches. If you are able to help provide a dish for a meal that will fee around 35 hungry folks, please sign on to the menu that will be placed on the fellowship room at Sunday services. If you are a ‘regular’ member of the Peterborough posse, look for an email with the menu sign-up!
Many thanks for helping with this anti-hunger mission here at PUMC! Any questions? Contact Susan Lindquist!
