WREATH FUNDRAISER – due Oct 31
2021 Christmas Wreath Sale to benefit Peterborough United Methodist Church and its missions
This year wreaths and swags are being made for us by Cheshire Floral Farm in Marlborough, NH. Wreaths are single-sided and made from locally cut greens (Marlborough and Marlow locations). Shop local!
Use this form to take orders from your family and friends. Don’t forget yourself! Bring your order form to church no later than October 31st. We will copy your order form and return it to you immediately so that you can collect payment before picking up your wreath order.

Note: If you do not attend church, you may call your order in. Print use your order form and contact Susan Lindquist or the church office. They will fill in your order on a clean sheet for the wreath order data.
Wreaths will arrive at the church the weekend after Thanksgiving, for Christmas decoration and will be available for pick up that Sunday and into the following week (November 28-December 3, details to be announced). You will pick up your whole order and hand in payment at that time.

Balsam Wreath Pricing: 12″ frame/24″wreath – $14, 14″ frame/28″ wreath – $22, 18″ frame/34″ wreath – $32, 24″frame/36″ wreath – $40
Swag Pricing: Balsam Swag – $8, Mixed Greens Swag – $11
Bow Pricing: Bows are made with wire-edged red fabric textured ribbons that hold the shape of the bow nicely.
Small Bow (suitable for 12″ and 14″ framed wreaths) – $5, Large Bow (suitable for 18″ and 24″ framed wreaths) – $7
Taking Orders: Please fill in complete names/phone contact for your reminder and to help us if there are any complications with picking up your wreaths. Please print clearly in the order boxes the numbers of each wreath or bow ordered. Please check your totals for each customer. Thanks! Checks may be made out to: “Peterborough United Methodist Church” with the memo line “wreath sale.”

POINSETTIAS FOR THE ALTAR – due Oct 31

Each Christmas our altar is decorated with poinsettias bought by members of our congregation in honor of or in memory of family and friends.
If you would like to contribute a poinsettia for the altar please let Amy Clason Gilmet or the church office know by Sunday October 31, 2021. We have to order early to ensure we can reserve plants as there is a shortage.
Plants will be delivered December 18th.
The cost of the poinsettia is 6.5” pot $11.99; 7.5” pot (2 plants in pot) $18.99; 8.5” pot (3 plants in pot) $32.00. Colors available are: red, white, or pink.
If you are writing a check please make it payable to Coll’s Garden Center.

COME TRUNK OR TREAT – Oct 30 2p at PUMC
Join us with your decorated trunk and treats, or trick or treat Saturday, October 30 at 2 pm at the church. We will have a trick or treat and a scavenger hunt.
Note this is now AT PUMC.

The next PUMC Book Group read will be the novel called Northernmost by Peter Geye. Epicurean: Your choice of a serving of quiche or cream cheese stuffed french toast, either comes with chocolate covered strawberries. Epicureans will be served on-site at Machina Kitchen & Art Bar at 11 am. There will be a live cooking demonstration and live music! Seating is limited, make your reservations now! $75 per person.
Bon Vivant: Your choice of a serving of quiche or cream cheese stuffed french toast, either comes with chocolate covered strawberries, and your choice of OJ or Virgin Mary mix. Your choice of delivery to your door if you are within a 10 mile radius of downtown Keene, or curbside pick-up starting at 9:30 am. $30 per person.
OPTIONAL ADD-ON: Mason Jar mug engraved with the logos of Hundred Nights and Machina Kitchen & Art Bar. $25 each

MATS – LIGHTS OF LOVE – due Dec 3
The Monadnock Area Transitional Shelter (MATS) is pleased to announce our Lights of Love program for 2021. Lights of Love is a great way to honor or remember a loved one.
MATS invites you to participate by donating $5 for a light to be placed on the tree outside the Healing Arts Gallery; adjacent to the ER at Monadnock Community Hospital. The virtual tree lighting ceremony will take place on December 17th, please purchase your lights by December 3rd.
Your gift will shine a light for your loved one and also support the work of MATS, which for more than 30 years has provided shelter for local families in transition.
