WREATH SALE ROUND-UP
Many thanks to everyone who participated in this year’s Christmas Greens Sale! Cheshire Flower Farm proved to be really helpful and the order came in on time! Thanks to Pricilla Crowe for advice and help on order flyers, thanks to Justine Gaskamp for helping get the bows delivered on Saturday AM, thanks to Hiel Lindquist for the use of the pick-up truck for transporting a trucked of greens, and thanks to Bob and Andrew Powers, the owners of Cheshire Flower Farm and their working crew of wreath assemblers and bow-makers!
Our church, after paying for the wholesale order, made a wee bit over $500. Those monies will be added to our church coffers and be used to further our church missions and work. Much can be done with that amount and for that, we can be grateful!
As you evaluate your wreath or swag, think about how we can improve next year’s greens sale. This is a new company we’re working with and they have been open to criticism and discussion on improvement of their services. So, let us know your thoughts!
Merry Christmas and Blessings!
Susan Lindquist, Priscilla Crowe, Justine Gaskamp

CHARGE CONFERENCE
Concerning the ongoing issues with the Boy Scout bankruptcy process, Peterborough UMC conducted the special charge conference on November 29 as scheduled. It was voted on unanimously by the charge conference to give our church Advisory Council the authority to deal with this issue. An agreement between the Boy Scout bankruptcy and the United Methodist Church is expected soon and our church will be provided with an opportunity to be included under the agreement. Once the agreement materials are received our Advisory Council will review the material and vote on further action. Please see Hiel Lindquist if you would like more information and let him know if you would like to be present during further discussions by our Advisory Council.
