POTENTIAL COVID EXPOSURE
Two people that attended the Christmas Eve service on Friday were exposed to Covid on Thursday.
At this time, we are continuing to worship both in-person with masks and online.
We will continue to social distance and mask, refrain from singing during worship, and will not be lingering in the fellowship hour after service. You are welcome to chat outside after service.
Please use your best judgment when deciding where to worship. Your health is our top priority.
What to do if you are exposed to covid-19: https://www.covid19.nh.gov/resources/what-do-if-you-were-exposed-covid-19
PLEASE DO NOT enter the church building if you are feeling any cold-like symptoms. This winter, that cold you have will most likely be a COVID variant.
Please contact the office, Jim Poplin, or Hiel Lindquist if you are signed up to participate in-person and are not feeling well. We will work around all illnesses.
Thank you for all of your help in getting through this new reality together.

VOLUNTEERS FOR LITURGIST
Since Sue has been in and out of the hospital, Jim is stepping back from serving as liturgist in order to keep their exposure reduced.
We are asking for more volunteers to serve as liturgist.
The duties involve reading several pieces from the order of worship, including the scriptures.
Please contact Jim Poplin if you are interested. All are welcome, including the church youth.
We would love to schedule the next month’s liturgists. This involves January 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30.
If we switch to remote worship only this will involve recording the service earlier in the week, the schedule can be flexible.

MONADNOCK REGION FOOD ACCESS PLAN
The Monadnock Farm and Community Coalition’s Children’s Food Access Alliance work group (Alliance) has completed a year-long initiative that will improve the overall health of Monadnock children by increasing access to locally produced and charitable food throughout the region. The Alliance identified three main priorities to accomplish this: develop a “baseline of hunger” in the region, conduct a comprehensive gap and asset analysis of current nutrition programs, and develop a Food Access Council, a team of individuals with lived experience of hunger to inform food access activities moving forward.
The Alliance assembled this report by conducting over 310 interviews, surveys, and listening sessions with stakeholders and people experiencing food insecurity. To read more about the 10 projects that will be implemented in 2022 to address needs and issues identified in the Monadnock Region Food Access Plan, please click on the link below.
To receive a copy of the Monadnock Region Food Access Analysis (baseline for hunger, gaps and asset analysis of current nutrition programs), email coordinator@mfccoalition.org.
Funding for this plan was provided by the New Hampshire Children’s Health Foundation.
