UNCOVER YOUR COMMUNITY’S HISTORY DURING INDIGENOUS PEOPLES’ HISTORY MONTH
During November, which is Indigenous Peoples’ History Month, the New England Conference Committee on Native American Ministries (NECONAM) is encouraging churches in New England to challenge the histories of their towns and cities. This is a chance to learn more about your community’s history and to think about what voices are missing from the historical accounts. It is also a chance to consider and recognize the contributions made by the Indigenous people that lived or live in your area.
