Please note that if you are closing up the church the cabinet doors for the sinks in the kitchen, the small bathroom, and the nursery should be left open to allow heat to get to the pipes. To unlock the plastic child safety cabinet locks press the small buttons on the sides of the bar in, and pull it out.
During church events these doors should be locked to keep the children from accessing chemicals stored there.
If you are the last to leave the church you should always check that all windows have been closed, all lights are off, in the cold months the cabinet doors are open, and make sure the main door is locked as you leave.

During Lent, many of us are reminded once again to examine our lifestyles and ask, “What can we do for others?” Part of faith formation at any age is compassion and offering a serving heart to our neighbors.
One way to involve the whole family is to collect coins during the season of Lent and then following Easter, donate the money.
