Dear Church Family and Friends,
Please join us for our Sunday worship service with Reverend Kathleene Card and her message It’s All About God.
Our hymns include We Love to Tell the Story, Open My Eyes That We May See, and Star Child.
Our liturgist Arnie Johnson will share our scriptures Matthew 11:2-11 and Isaiah 32:1-10.
Our bulletin is available here: https://www.peterboroughumc.org/sunday-december-15-2019-pumc-order-worship/
STONE SOUP NIGHT
Dec 21 – Homeless Vigil and Stone Soup. Meet at PUMC at 4:30 and walk to Peterborough Townhouse at 4:45 for the homeless vigil. The homeless vigil is sponsored by MATS. Return to PUMC for Stone Soup at around 6 PM. Everyone is welcome to attend. Come be a witness to those among us that are resource challenged. Donations to MATS are welcome but not required.
We have a letter we send to new members which has some useful information on it. We are copying it here in case we missed anyone.
We have linked below our church directory, and lists of ministries and church leaders with contacts.
If you would like to volunteer as liturgist please contact Susan Lindquist (consult your directory for contact info).
Also below is a communications sign up form. You may also sign up for our mailing list on our web site at https://www.peterboroughumc.org/about_us/contact_us/subscribe/
If you have children or grandchildren who will be attending church we ask that you fill out our youth participation form.
If you will be volunteering to work with our youth you can complete a background check form. Fill out page one. Do not sign until the form is notarized (your bank will usually do this for free). Return to the office and we will mail it with a check, you do not pay for the background check.
You may leave the forms in the Incoming bin in the fellowship hall, or if you prefer you can email this information to Melissa at firstname.lastname@example.org.
When leaving the church please make sure all lights are off. If you have touched any thermostat please hit return/run. In the winter it is important to make sure any space heaters are turned off, and door and under-sink cabinets in the bathroom and kitchen are left open so we do not get any frozen pipes.
When a group exits the church please hit the R button on the door keypad and wiggle the handle to make sure it locks.
The church wifi is PUMC43, the password is AC123456BD.
The church website will keep you informed https://www.peterboroughumc.org/.
